Our next adventure…

I got a lot of positive feedback from blogging our last trip, so I thought I would do it again. Out trip this summer is not as big as last, but we are excited. Here is our itinerary…

Sunday, July 1st, Drive from Amarillo to Denver
We will spend Sunday and Monday in Denver

Tuesday, Fly to San Francisco
We will only be in SF for one day

Wednesday, Catch the Amtrak California Zephyr train
We will ride the train back to Denver

Thursday, we will arrive late back into Denver

Friday – We will spend one more day in Denver

Saturday – Drive back from Denver to Amarillo

REAL busy day today. Started slow, but once we got in the Highland Oaks building, it has been non-stop setting up and going. No pictures today. Perhaps more tomorrow.

Arrived in Dallas

Stephen and I left Amarillo this morning around 7:45 and arrived at our hotel in Dallas around 2:00. Pretty quickly we headed our for the local DART rail line and caught a train to Dallas Union Station. There we stepped across to a TRE train which we rode to Fort Worth and back.

After a short stay in For Worth, we came back to Dallas and caught the DART train to the West End. We ran through the rain and ate dinner at TGIF.

After dinner, we ran back in the rain to catch the DART back to our car and back to the hotel.

Now, we are off to bed. We will be heading over to the church tomorrow to get setup.

YouthWAVE in Dallas

In just a week, Stephen and I will be leaving for YouthWAVE 2007. I hope to keep posts going during our trip. We will be in Dallas for the first time after being in Austin the last 6 years. I hope to have time to ride some trains and perhaps even get to a Ranger game.
