The ferry leaves from an old train station where many of the immigrants who went through Ellis Island would board trains for all parts of the country.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.craigmashburn.com\/travelblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/p1000475.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: 0pt none; display: inline;\" title=\"P1000475\" src=\"https:\/\/www.craigmashburn.com\/travelblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/p1000475-thumb.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"P1000475\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.craigmashburn.com\/travelblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/p1000478.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: 0pt none; display: inline;\" title=\"P1000478\" src=\"https:\/\/www.craigmashburn.com\/travelblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/p1000478-thumb.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"P1000478\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.craigmashburn.com\/travelblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/p1000483.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: 0pt none; display: inline;\" title=\"P1000483\" src=\"https:\/\/www.craigmashburn.com\/travelblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/p1000483-thumb.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"P1000483\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>To go up into the pedestal, we had to wait in a line for over an hour. Here is a picture of Michael with some of the buildings. It looks like he is in deep thought, he is really making sure his glasses do not fall off while looking down at the water.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.craigmashburn.com\/travelblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/p1000479.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: 0pt none; display: inline;\" title=\"P1000479\" src=\"https:\/\/www.craigmashburn.com\/travelblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/p1000479-thumb.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"P1000479\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Even though we were really tired, we figured how often do we get to New York, so we walked the Brooklyn Bridge.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.craigmashburn.com\/travelblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/p1000492.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: 0pt none; display: inline;\" title=\"P1000492\" src=\"https:\/\/www.craigmashburn.com\/travelblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/p1000492-thumb.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"P1000492\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.craigmashburn.com\/travelblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/p1000493.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: 0pt none; display: inline;\" title=\"P1000493\" src=\"https:\/\/www.craigmashburn.com\/travelblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/p1000493-thumb.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"P1000493\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We then stopped by the Sony Wonder Labs. Lots of cool tech stuff that the kids really enjoyed.<\/p>\n<p>Then we ran by Mickey Mantel\u2019s Restaurant\u2026<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.craigmashburn.com\/travelblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/p1000498.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: 0pt none; display: inline;\" title=\"P1000498\" src=\"https:\/\/www.craigmashburn.com\/travelblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/p1000498-thumb.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"P1000498\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We were going to eat there, but having to spend $60 for dinner was just too much, so we went by Grand Central again and ate in the the food concourse.\u00a0 Cheap and easy.<\/p>\n<p>We also ended up walking by this place\u2026<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.craigmashburn.com\/travelblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/p1000497.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: 0pt none; display: inline;\" title=\"P1000497\" src=\"https:\/\/www.craigmashburn.com\/travelblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/p1000497-thumb.jpg\" border=\"0\" alt=\"P1000497\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>After that, back to New Jersey to pack up.
