It was all about riding trains and hanging out with new friends.<\/p>\n<p>We started to day at Union Station at 8:30 where we caught a Surfliner train to San\u00a0Diego.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.craigmashburn.com\/travelblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/img_2495.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"450\" height=\"337\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-252\" title=\"img_2495\" src=\"https:\/\/www.craigmashburn.com\/travelblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/img_2495.jpg\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.craigmashburn.com\/travelblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/img_2495.jpg 450w, https:\/\/www.craigmashburn.com\/travelblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/img_2495-300x224.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We arrived in San Diego around 11:30.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.craigmashburn.com\/travelblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/img_2496.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"450\" height=\"337\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-253\" title=\"img_2496\" src=\"https:\/\/www.craigmashburn.com\/travelblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/img_2496.jpg\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.craigmashburn.com\/travelblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/img_2496.jpg 450w, https:\/\/www.craigmashburn.com\/travelblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/img_2496-300x224.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We ate lunch nearby and then spent the afternoon riding the local trolley system.
