After an okay breakfast, back to the rooms where everyone crashed again (except me, cause I don&#8217;t want to miss anything).<\/p>\n<p>At Indianapolis, we were only an hour late so not too bad. We will see if we can make up some time into Chicago.<\/p>\n<p>Around 11:00, sure enough we pulled into Chicago Union Station. We went directly to the sleeper passenger lounge and staked out a corner. At 12:00, Stephen and I walked down the street to Giardano&#8217;s Pizza where I had ordered a deep dish pizza while we were still on the train! It was hot, ready and HEAVY when we got there and we quickly walked back to the station to devour it.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Pizza\" src=\"https:\/\/www.craigmashburn.com\/travelblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Pizza1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"675\" height=\"506\" data-json=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Then we just killed time until around 2:00 when we got to board The Southwest Chief back to Lamy.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"SWC\" src=\"https:\/\/www.craigmashburn.com\/travelblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/SWC.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"675\" height=\"341\" data-json=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>So far, this has been our best train of the trip. Great train equipment and a GREAT crew. No better way to end a vacation.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"p42\" src=\"https:\/\/www.craigmashburn.com\/travelblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/p42.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"675\" height=\"506\" data-json=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If you look in the windows, you can just make out Vicky and Michael.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"window\" src=\"https:\/\/www.craigmashburn.com\/travelblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/window.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"675\" height=\"506\" data-json=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Couple of hours after departure, we all had steak for dinner. Again, it was the best this trip.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Dinner\" src=\"https:\/\/www.craigmashburn.com\/travelblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Dinner2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"675\" height=\"506\" data-json=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Dinner\" src=\"https:\/\/www.craigmashburn.com\/travelblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Dinner3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"675\" height=\"506\" data-json=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>After dinner, hang out time.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Vicky\" src=\"https:\/\/www.craigmashburn.com\/travelblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/Vicky2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"675\" height=\"506\" data-json=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p>After dark, we all turned in for a good nights sleep.
